As the sun rose, a new stage of history was beginning. Only history wasn’t ready for it and neither was the world. Adam woke to feel the sun on his face as he stared out of the windows.

“Enjoying the freedom again?” Eve said as she slid her arms around his chest.

“Yes… but its different. This… host… he was different than those of the past.” He said softly.

“Hmm… that is true. This host is as well. Perhaps we have been sealed away for far too long. The world is a different. If we did not have the memories of our hosts then we would certainly call most of this magic.” She agreed.

“They have so much knowledge, almost as much as we did. Humans have achieved so much, yet in all that they have remained the same. War. Death. Starvation. Greed. Slavery. We have tried through the ages to bring unity but all we’ve ever succeed in doing was bringing peace for small regions for a few years before we were taken down. Time after time we have tried and failed and now slowly through the ages, our followers have faded away…” He reminisced.

(Horus. Zeus. Thor. All these names I carried, yet each time peace was established, it was struck down. I almost wonder whats the point.) he sighed depressingly.

(My dearest. Stop. We are not perfect beings. We are ascended beings yes, but we have still not attained the godhood we searched for all those eons ago. After we left the garden, we’ve done everything for the sake of our goal. We’ve done dark things for our goals. Yet we’ve done good as well.) She said as she cupped his face.

(Its not enough though. We’ve been benevolent and malevolent. Saviors and executioners. Gods and Prophets. What else is there for us to try?) he asked her.

(I don’t know)

Standing there in each others embrace, Adam and Eve felt comforted at each other’s touch. As they released from each other’s embrace Adam caught sight of one of the books that sat on the nightstand.

‘Why your goals are failing, a guide to achieving your goals’

Laughing at the sight of the book, the very thought of a book that would get him his goal was too funny to him. Yet as soon as he finished that thought he was hit was a revelation, all from a human written book!

As he began to laugh out loud, Eve became confused.

(Beloved, don’t tell me you’ve finally cracked.) She said.

(No! In fact its the opposite! I’ve figured out what to do… It was right there all along! You won’t believe how easy it was.) He laughed ecstatically.

(I don’t care. So long as we’re together.) She told him.

(And I will always love you eternally for it.)

(I know. Now tell me whats our first step in this grand plan of your’s.)

(Well simple first we’ll need more hosts. I want to summon the angels back.) he said.

(Angels? Really? They were such… passive creations. Why did we ever make so many?) Eve sighed, she was never a fan of those feathered healers.

Chuckling at her little pout, (Well thats not the only thing, I want to summon berserkers as well.)

(Ohh, I like that. But the last time we wanted the two to work together it didn’t end well. I will always miss that library.) She frowned.

(I remember but I want to do something I should have used in the past. Balance. I want to merge the rage, aggression, and violence of the berserkers with the calm, passive, and gentleness of the angels together.) He explained.

(Hmm. It could work but we’re too weak for this to work.) she pointed out.

(I agree. We need to find sacrifices but both of us will need to do the merging, I created the angels and you created the berserkers.) He added.

(Ohhhh, that is certainly true dearest. For now though we need a plan to gain energy.)

(Well souls are a decent source but thats going to take a lot of time that I’d rather focus on. I was thinking more spirits and lesser entities.)

(That could work… or we could find some objects of power, they are always filled with spiritual energy.) They discussed until the idea of siphoning came up. The energy they needed was not the everyday that powered phoned, moved airplanes, and make our food. No, the energy they needed was that of another realm, faith, love, happiness, and life force were just examples. The idea of siphoning energy was simple, they could travel to places of worship and create an object that would allow them to siphon the power of faith from devout followers. Then they could go to concerts and drain energies from people they touched. It would take a little while but they would be able to gain energy much more consistently, a few churches, some mosques, and then some colleges to siphon some excess love energy.

(Well I think this works out in the long run, after all we do have time.) they agreed.

(Let’s get ourselves ready, we’ve much to do. I have to first get rid of the missing person’s report on me.” Adam remembered.

“Well today is the weekend so I have off, should I quit the job?” She wondered.

“Yes, do so. I will as well after I report to the police. I have plans as to how to acquire our necessary fund for this new age.” He smirked as he looked at the library of books he had.

“So long as I get my silk dresses again. I miss them so.” She commented as she got dressed.

“Of course my dearest.” He laughed.

As they left the apartment to split their tasks, Adam recalled his past and his present lives. Over the Eons he’d forgotten his origins, only remembering the faintest of details. The only thing he remembered was that in the beginning there were several others. They were there at the beginning when planets were formed and when suns first lit up. Then for an age of time they were happy, no squabbles, no conflict, and no killing.

Then mortal beings came into existence, he couldn’t remember who made them. A fascinating new creatures came into being and brought some entertainment. Then one of his kind touched the mortal and became trapped in their frail vessel. That was until the vessel died, then his kind would be released to  the original plane. That was when things changed, some of his kind would go down and play, leaving their plane for some time. Then over the eons when no one was paying attention, one by one his kind went missing.

“Hey! Can I help you?” Someone shouted as he looked up. He was in the police station about to get his missing person’s case revoked. If front of him was a older plump officer with aging hair.

“Hi, I just came back home and a friend of mine told me I was a missing person?” he said as he acted confused.

“What’s your name? I’ll see if I can pull anything up on your case.” The officer said.

“Adam Rei. R-E-I” he told the officer.

“Hold on.” He said as he pulled up the information.

“Take a seat, a detective will be down to see you and clear this up.” He instructed. Thanking him and grabbing a seat,  Andy could feel some strong energy in the building and began absorbing it slowly. The energy was weak but clearly a dark attributed energy built up from a plethora of negative emotions.

“Adam Rei?” a voice cafe from nearby.

“Here.” He quickly replied.

The detective was a woman with long dark brown hair in a ponytail. She had was wearing a black sweater and pants with her coffee colored shoes. Overall she looked attractive yet professionally serious at the same time.

“Hi I’m Detective Emma, Could you come with me please? I need to interview you about your case and then we’ll have you squared away.” She smiled.

“Of course.” He smiled as he followed behind her up the stairs. As she led him around the office they stopped at a tidy dest with some pictures of her and a man.

“Please take a seat.” She said as she pulled a folder from her organizer.

“Now, it says here that you were reported missing three days ago but weren’t seen as of a week ago. Could you tell me where you went?” She asked.

“I went out of town, to visit friend.” He told her, revealing no details.

“Could you give me the contact for your friend?” She said as she pulled out a pen and pad.

“Millersons Cemetery.” He said as he looked away.

Following his lie she quickly responded, “Oh.. I’m sorry. Umm could you tell me the reason why you left the city for a week without a word to anyone though?”

“I had, what you say, a mid-life crisis.” He said.

“A little young for midlife crisis don’t you think for translating?” She chuckled.

He looked at her and wondered about her world. With a small whisper he peeked into her mind and saw her naivety.

“Detective, I work as a translator and I’m good at what I do. What I am currently translating will be written down in history. What gets written down in history will be taught to the future generations of America. So, if I mis translate one word, phrase or character then our entire outlook would be different. Imagine if someone mis-translated the Declaration of Independence, or the US Constitution. That is the level of importance I am working on. So no Detective Emma, I believe I can have a midlife crisis whenever I damn well please.” He scolded her.

Feeling embarrassed at the earful she had received in her own office. She saw that some of her fellow officers had heard her and were laughing at her. Slowly her embarrassment turned to anger.

“Listen here buddy! I get stress but you don’t get the right to come in here and-“

“Detective!” A loud voice came in behind her.

Letting out her pent up anger out in a controlled breath, she turned around to see her Captain.

“Yes, sir?” She let out in a forced smile.

“Any problem here?” He asked with a stern look.

“No sir. Just missing person… who isn’t missing anymore.” She said.

“Well when you’re done, come to my office, I see we need another chat.” He said as he looked at her.

“Sure thing sir.” She said.

As he walked away she turned back to Adam to see him with a stoic expression.

“As we done here, detective?” Adam asked.

Red faced, she quickly signed the paper in the folder she slammed it shut, “Yeah we’re done. You can find your own way out.”

Thanking the detective who was now, obviously in trouble. He went back out and went to pick up food for his vessel. A few blocks away he was picking up a few sandwiches to take home to get lunch. As he grabbed the sandwich and made his way back home he could feel something, as if someone was watching him. Stopping to look around her noticed the detective in her car, blatantly observing him.

‘Crap, really?’ He though, as the amount of trouble he was in.

Pulling out his phone he told needed to tell Eve to stay away for a little while as he tried to figure out a way around this, seeing how he couldn’t cast his magic carelessly since he needed it. Meanwhile across the street, Detective Emma Bishop was staking out the bastard who embarrassed her in front of her colleagues. The captain may have given her an earful but she was;t going to allow a little thing like that to slow her down.

Adam walked his way home, carefully as to not give the detective any reason to arrest him for something trivial. When he reached home he looked out his window to see see if she was still tailing him. Fortunately she had left and he could tell Eve to come over. For now though he had to prepare as he grabbed a sandwich and went over to his desk.

On top laid the Ancient book he’d been released from, his safe haven. He picked it up and put the book up against his head, slowly unlocking its etherial locks and mystic binds. As he struggled more than he was expecting, he was still able to unlock his work. Minutes turned to hours as the book slowly released itself to its master.

Yuis nerdas sunnelnr irrui Rarera” he whispered as the books old and ancient pages suddenly shifted. The old leather bound book became bright, shining bright and white. The pages of the book slowly came apart and over two hundred pages turned into bright lights and slowly reabsorbed into him.  Each page was a sliver of energy and an imprint of information.

(That took longer than I was expecting, are we ready?) His eternal companion asked.

(Yes, have you found some suitable locations?)

(Four churches and a concert tonight. A small drop of energy to get us back up to at lease ageless abilities.) she guessed.

(Good, lets go to the churches first.) He said as he changed his clothes.

As they left the city, the sunset had just passed and twilight had fallen. The city was peaceful as the fall had just rolled in with golden brown leaves decorating the sidewalks.

“On the left, our main target. According to my research its the largest church in the city.” She said as they walked up the graceful stone laid steps and through the gracefully designed door. Inside laid the many rows or pews, ornate stained glass and a large signature cross in the center.

‘Jesus, if they could see you now… my brother.’ He reminisced.

“We should cast our siphon on the cross, as it is the focal point.” She commented.

Nodding, they walked up to the cross.

“Hey you can’t be up here!” they heard a man yell.

As they quickly spun around, a old man came up to them from inside the office section of the church.

“Apologies, Father. We’re just admiring the craftsmanship of this piece of work.” Eve quickly told him, turning on her charm.

“Doesn’t matter! You can’t be back here!” He shouted. He appeared to be having a little spout from

“Please, father. We’re here to make a contribution to the church.” She smiled.

“Then come to my office.” He said with a raised hand, waiting for them to move.

“Of course” Adam said as he moved away from the centerpiece.

Walking down from the alter and into the office nearby, the priest followed behind as he shut the door.

“So what were you thinking about a donation? A hundred? Two?” he asked.

“Well before we give any funds, we were curious about what programs you have here?” Eve quipped.

“Well right now, we have AA meetings, suicide preventions and survivors meetings weekly. As for monthly we have run a soup kitchen and shelter some homeless from time to time. That what your looking for?”

“Yes, it is exactly. We want to support your homeless program, in particular your soup kitchen program.”

“Really? Well honestly they’re all struggling right now so any help is appreciated.” He said stoically.

“We’re happy to help. We were thinking about ten thousand dollars to start with. Is that okay with you?”

“Ten thousand?!” he exclaimed, as he bounced in his chair.

“Yes, ten thousand. We were really looking to help. We have a check ready if need be.” She reiterated.

“Thank you so much! We were worried how we were going to support the programs! You have no idea how much you’ve helped us!” He said as his attitude heightened.

“No worries.” Adam smiled.

“I feel really silly now about stopping you from touching the cross.” HE chuckled sheepishly.

“Ah well I can go touch it now and make everything alright.” Adam smiled.

“Well, normally I don’t let anyone touch it, guess today’s an exception!” He chuckled.

As they stood up to walk out to the cross, Adam quietly casted ‘daila llsaana’ on the priest, freezing him in place in front of the cross. Walking over to the cross to begin placing the siphon. Several breaths later the siphon was latched. Going back to his original place he released the priest who didn’t notice a single difference.

“Thank you so much Father. We’ll be in touch this weekend.” They said as they parted ways. Leaving the church behind they headed for their next target. For the next two or three hours they found themselves making massive donations to various churches allowing them to attach their siphons across the city.

“Whats the concert tonight?” Adam asked.

“Its a surprise.” Eve smiled.

“Alright, so long as its not that horrendous ‘dubstep’.” Adam said.

“Relax, its a different type of concert.” She said as they got into a cab.

As they rode through the city, they observed the city around them.

(These mortals have progressed so far, I remember them living in straw huts.) Adam noted.

(Well of course, we were sealed. And after Jesus was slain by the spear, no one has been able to keep a hold of this planet.) Eve said.

(I know but I miss him. He was the only one who stood with us against the others.)

(He was a warrior Adam. Above all else he was a hero.)

(I know Eve) he said.

(What ever happened to his circle?) Eve asked.

(Lost. I told him not to trust them, that his benevolence would be his downfall. Judas is still out there, living on the gift of energy that made him a lesser immortal.) Adam fumed.

(Relax, my dear. If he is out there, we will slay him… slowly.) She reassured him.

As she said this, the cab stopped in front of the Emerald City Orchestra.

“Whats this? An orchestra?”

“Yes, the National Orchestra is playing tonight. The energy here will be vast that we can absorb after we enjoy the show.”

“Of course dear. There should be much to drink from tonight. ” He said as they went in to enjoy the show. A few hours later and outside of the concert, Adam and Eve soaked up the Energy around them.

(Ahh, this energy is pleasant. However I think we have a few issues that we need to talk about.) He said as they walked around the down town area. Nodding, they slowly went hand and hand back to Adam’s place. Walking down the sparsely filled streets and   cool night take them around.

As they walked down the city’s streets they were not alone. Behind them there were a pair of men following a little way behind. A pair of robbers who heard that there was going to be a fancy orchestral event tonight. An event they had no chance of getting into but waiting until the event was over was an easy way to get at the mostly rich attendees.

(Hmm, it seems like there will be some more energy tonight after all.) Eve smiled viciously.

(Do you want to take care of them?) Adam asked rhetorically.

(Obviously. Don’t steal my fun. I want to suck their souls out.)

(Ilf course not. Lets make it a good show.) He chuckled.

(Oh I will.) she said as she moved her hand to hook her arm around his. Together they walked a little slower and acted like they didn’t notice them. The two robbers were obviously experienced, splitting up as one went across the road to cut them off on their front side. As one of the robbers moved into position in front of them, behind them the other made his move.

Running at full speed into the couple, he slipped right in between the two dragging eve with him.

“Empty your goddamn pockets and put all your money on the floor now! Or the lady eats a bullet!” He threatened as he pulled a gun out from under his shirt. The other robber stayed a little ways ahead of them, acting like a innocent bystander.

“Alright! Please don’t hurt her!” Adam acted with centuries of lying under his belt. Finally the other thief came to them and headed for Adam’s belongings. As he reached for it thought Adam rushed the thief and pulled his arm behind his back with one hand, while the other hand was wrapped around his throat.

Stunned at what was happening, the robber holding Eve wasn’t prepared for it when she attacked. Smashing her fist into his genitals at full speed while moving her head out of the way of the gun. Recoiling form the sudden pain, he released her and she quickly attacked again. This time with a step in and a swinging elbow to his temple. Just like that in perfect form he was on the ground.

“FUCK! Mike!” the robber in Andy’s grasp yelled.

“Oh shut up, he’s just sleeping.” Eve retorted.

“Will you do the honors?” Adam asked.

“My pleasure. Dunaileda.” She casted. All of a sudden the man’s body became relaxed, while his eyes not had a light green ring outlining his iris’.

“Pick up mike and follow us.” She ordered. Accepting her orders and getting his unconscious accomplice. Adam picked up the gun and took it with them. As it was late at night, there weren’t many witnesses.

Once they returned home and the two had set their new ‘guests’ in the sofa. Having their thrall tie up ‘Mike’ and wait in the corner obediently.

(Now then to harvest some souls.) Eve smiled as she dropped her purse onto the table.

(Eve stop it, you’re acting like a fat kid eyeing a piece of cake. Its creepy.) Adam joked.

(Oh hush. I haven’t had a snack in such a long time.) She quipped.

(Remember you only get one.) He reminded her.

(Oh fine, I’ll take ‘Mike’) She said as she sauntered over to his unconscious body. Placing her hand on his chest she inhaled deeply and closed her eyes. Slowly her mouth turned upwards revealing a pearly smile.

(Ahh, I feel much better.)

(Enough to create an angelic being?) He asked.

(Not that much.) she shook her head.

(Well, it didn’t hurt to hope.) he said as he walked over the the thralled one and placed his hand over his chest. However before he could take his soul he got a sudden hit of inspiration.

“Eve, I think I’m a genius.”

“Oh, why’s that?” She asked whilst basking in the energy of the new soul.

“I want to convert him.”

“Really? Why?” She asked curious now.

“Well every god has a champion. A champion to help and undergo tasks for his god, for this to work I will need to personify a being that people are severely searching for. I just can’t think of what to personify…” He pondered.

“War?”

“No, people these days are too soft for that…” he said as there was no need for as much war in the modern era.

“Then how about Justice?” She suggested.

Hearing that Adam considered it. Justice, something that the world was severely lacking. Almost as much as it was lacking equality and free thinking.

“I got it, Justice and Equality… I am going to be the God of Justice and Equality.” He smiled.

“Great, now to plant the memory. Darling could you please spare some energy?” He asked. She stood up and walked over to him and put her hand on his back and nodded. This time, placing his hand on top of their thrall’s head, he began to cast an ancient magic allowing him to enter his target’s mind.

Scribble…scribble….scribble….

In a middle-class urban area of Emerald City, the sound of pencil on paper filled the silent room. After six months of furious research, Adam Rei thought he was finally making some headway on how to decipher ancient tome that laid before him. As a world leading expert at only the age of twenty six, he was preparing to solidify his place in history. The desk he was working on was littered with several dictionaries and reference materials. All of it was for the sole purpose of translating one of the most mysterious tomes in history.

As he focused on the task at hand, his black hair and asian features were apparent from the desk lamps. With his thin frame and flabby muscles, he ws not the definiton of a chick magnet. He was however very well off with his accomplishments and track to sucess. His current project had been an ancient tome that was found in a recently excavated archaeological site off the coast of Norway. There was much mystery and confusion from the discovery of the tome, being as it was written in three different languages, all dead languages. What was weirder was that the languages were all far older than that of the location. All translation efforts were being thwarted. It was something no normal person would devote six months of their life to do. Then again Adam Rei was not your typical twenty-six year old loner.

After university he got a job as a small time translator for a small company starting off. Eager to read and translate ancient text, he made his debut in the translating circles by completely translating old ancient greek papyruses. After that his resume had slowly expanded, all while translating documents for big time clients and books

At six foot three inches he was easily noticed and even though he tried his best to stay away from attention but he always was surrounded by people. He was good at his job, a little too good at it actually, as many of his co-workers would come to him for corrections, sometimes his bosses as well. Of course it was a lot of work but as someone who liked being alone, even if it was alone doing work, he was happy.

With all the extra work he’d earned a significant bonus as well. Most of his bosses were very happy to praise him, even coworkers let him get ahead for all the help he did there. Adam however didn’t want any promotions, so they gave him money instead. Money that he spent buying his one drug, books. All books from new books to limited editions were how he spent his time. He’d spent well over half his paycheck buying books and recently he’d gotten into buying limited editions and old collectable books.

In Adam’s apartment, there were well over a thousand books on various subjects, stories, and languages. Being a translator and lover of books, he quickly qualified to be a polyglot, using his love of books as the driving force of his passion. He of course never wrote it down on any of his resume’s since he didn’t know he qualified. No, he’d simply put top three languages that were in severe demand.

Six months ago, it was a Friday and he’d just returned home from a long day at work. In his bag, inside a secure container was the book that he’d taken the challenge to translate the tome. Eager to open it and begin trying to translate it, he rushed in and dropped his things off. On his desk he had various reference books and translation texts near him. He quickly cleared them off so that he could begin working. For the next six months he would research, translate, cross out, and then do it all over again.

However wasted efforts as he’d been the only one to translate the first two paragraphs! Even with the his ‘completes’ translations, it was still making no sense. What was even more confusing  was that even though the text was a mix of ancient northern germanic languages, ancient Greek, and even archaic Chinese, they were written in what appeared to be a random order.

“FUCK!” he yelled out loud in frustration.

He’d just discovered another flaw in his translation.

‘I’ve used references from eight languages already, what the fuck is this book?!’ he fumed as he walked away to go and try to calm down.  Laying down, he rubbed his temples to try and relieve the stress his project was giving him.

‘Okay, calm down. Let’s review. Its obviously locked in some code. Using several dead languages to lock it. There were several germanic words in both paragraphs, some archaic chinese as well, and some ancient greek references sprinkled through out its almost like the book was written in several sequences….wait…. It can’t be that. Could it?’ he realized with a major breakthrough was in the simplest of nuances.

With such a small detail he cleared slowly stared making his way through the other texts, slowly it was making itself clear. After this little revelation, he realized that he book was written as if it was in a cipher then  put into another cipher, then written backwards, twice. Several hours later he’d finished the translation to one language.

Latin.

Since it was still considered a dead language and he was one in several hundred people who could read it fluent. As he put his pen down and read though it, he felt sick. At first he thought it was just a graphic torture description from ancient times. The truth was far worse than he could possibly imagine. The ancient tome was a codex of various dark rituals that were used in almost every ancient civilization. There were rituals raising forgotten dark Egyptian Nubians, berserkers of norse mythology, mad buddhas, fallen archangels and other monstrosities. Adam couldn’t stomach the level of detail and considered burning his translation so that it would never be discovered.

‘Do I really want to be known as the one who translated… whatever the hell that is.’ He thought to himself.

Getting up and walking away, he walked to the other end of the room and looked at the book. There was something dark about it, and it was as if the book now had some allure to him. It felt as if even although he was alone, there was a presence near him.  He decided that he would think about what to do, to sleep on it. Before he couldn’t believe that such evil existed but… now he didn’t know what to believe anymore.

He he didn’t w what had to be done. He went back and grabbed the translation and the ancient book and took it to his kitchen.

‘FREE AT LAST!’ a low pitched scream echoed through his mind. Adam dropped to the floor as the sound reverberated through his skull. As if some force was trying to rip his skull into a thousand pieces.

‘YOU WILL BE MY SALVATION!’

Struggling to stay conscious as the thoughts again tried to rip through his mind. He crawled his way through the room to reach the stove.

‘MORTAL, YOUR ATTEMPTS ARE FUTILE!’

Anguish, pure and unadulterated anguish spread through his body. As if the very definition had decided to inhabit his body. Staying conscious was not even an idea, he just wanted it to end.

‘YOUNG MORTAL! I ADMIRE YOUR FUTILE BRAVADO. I WILL MAKE YOU A DEAL SINCE YOU RELEASED ME. BOND WITH ME! MERGE AND TOGETHER WE SHALL BECOME A GOD. JOIN ME! ASCEND TO GODHOOD! STRIP AWAY YOUR INHIBITIONS! WEALTH, POWER, EVEN WORSHIP WILL COME.’

Writhing in pain and anguish, Adam was foaming at the mouth. Although his mind and body wanted the pain to stop. His soul was resisting with all its might to fight and battle the entity.

A battle it was struggling with all its might.

A battle it was losing.

A battle it had lost.

-Six Days Later-

Eve Tores was sitting at her desk reading over a translated text that was way out her area of expertise. It had been almost a week since her boss had shown up at work and no one cold find him. His apartment yielded no luck and his phone was equally useless. She was always fond of Adam, we treated everyone with respect and although he liked to be alone, he was still friendly. He was one of the few bosses she had that was not trying to get into her pants.

She knew she was attractive. At five foot four inches, C-cup breasts, a well toned and tight body. She had what her last boyfriend used to call her, ‘the perfect fuck’ body type . She however did not like the sound of that and tried to hide her natural beauty through oversized clothes and no make up. However some people still saw through her disguise and continued to take a liking to her.

Depressed at the only person she liked going missing, she was at loss for what to do. As she checked the clock and saw it was time to go home, she received a text. Sliding her phone to unlock she became wide-eyes as she read it.

‘Eve, I need you to come to my house. Please, tell no one! -A ‘

Without any hesitation she immediately headed for her car and went straight to Adam’s place. Over the short ride there, she contemplated on what he’d been doing and if he was okay. Allowing emotions she didn’t know she had for him to cloud her judgement, all she wanted was for him to be okay.

As she arrived at his apartment and knocked on the door, quickly the door created open to reveal Adam on the other side. He’d looked haggard with deep dark circles under his eyes and was pale faced. Rushing in she cupped his face and asked, “Adam! What happened to you!? I’ve been so worried that something had happened to you!”

“Eve stop, please.” He said as he held her hand.

Frowning at his response she didn’t say anything, but in reality she was relieved that he was okay.

“Theres a reason why I called you here with me.” He smiled as he looked into her eyes.

“Oh what would that be?” She said as she felt her chest begin to beat rapidly.

Slowly his hands fell to her waist, as she didn’t resist. When they reached her waist he began pulling her close. Soon enough she could feel his breath on her lips and his hands firmly gripped on her ass. With less than an inch between them she could feel her heart racing with anticipation. Slowly her mind filled with sexual fantasies that she never knew she wanted to do until tonight.

“I need you to…”

Eve looked at him expectantly, awaiting for his command so she could fulfill her sexual desires.

“I need you to…part with your soul.” He said as she froze at what he’d said.

Without warning Adam pulled a dagger out from behind him and plunged the dagger straight into her gut. Shocked at the turn of events, she finally realized what was going on.

“Ah. I don’t think so. rairalsa.”

Suddenly she couldn’t say a word, let alone scream. Slowly she felt her body go cold and that death was near. The dagger that was in her gut slowly began to shine with a light blue shine.

“Ah got the soul, daila llsaana” he casted again, Eve’s body was now frozen, as if time had stopped flowing around her.

With the soul trapped in the dagger, Adam waved his hands and the ancient book appeared in front of him.

Mirr Baruyan, sadisl du na ulsa nusa! I rinnul dha fuwasr ull dha ailllailaidin, nasra waidh dhair ruir eln sasreain irruis fresa ed nirr raina!” He chanted to completion. Slowly the blue shine on the dagger began changing into a reddish color.

“Its complete.” He smiled as he took the knife and reinserted it in the Eve’s gut. The reddish shine began to fade, slowly it could be seen seeping into Eve’s body.

“‘Haer’” He casted on her as he pulled the dagger out.

Eve’s body was now healed, the wound on her abdomen was no longer there leaving nothing behind. The only thing could be seen was her well toned abdomen. Slowly she began to stir, as if in confusion. Looking around she seemed to take in her surroundings until her eyes fell on Adam.

(Are we back my dearest?), she asked in an ancient language.

(Yes dear we are.) Adam smiled as he pulled he off the floor and into his embrace.

(I am still a little out of touch, it seems as if we’ve been forgotten.)

(We have, but that will make it all the more fun when we take over, I’ll never forgive those bastards for forcing us away from each other. I will have their souls tortured and flayed as I watch.) He wickedly smiled.

(Oh I know you will my beloved. Before we do that though I have a question.)

(Oh, what?)

(This… Eve that I am in, why is it she’s already horny when I’ve only just woken up!?) she yelled as she ripped the clothes off of him.

(Opps, I might have something to do with that.) he tried to explain.

(I don’t want explanations, I want you! Now!) she yelled as she planted her lips onto his and jumped into his arms. Not wanting to fall behind he quickly tore off her clothes as well. Swinging his arms underneath her to carry her, he quickly led her to the bedroom. It became a night full of two ancient lovers, reacquainting with each other.
